CHANUKKA X HOUSE OF DIASPORA

On December 21, 2025, the shortest and darkest day of the year, the Institute for New Social Sculpture, in cooperation with the Munich Kammerspiele, invites you to a special double event that combines urban rituals, nocturnal perception, and Hanukkah traditions. The entire evening will be accompanied and framed by drag queen and opera singer Mazy Mazeltov. The Israeli-Berlin artist Alona Rodeh@alona_rodehStarting at 5:00 PM, we'll be guided through the nocturnal surroundings of the Munich Kammerspiele, experiencing the sensual and cultural dimensions of darkness in urban spaces. The English-language Night Walk will be accompanied by Israeli author and scholar Mor Kadishzon, who will delve deeper into the theme of light and darkness with her poetic and philosophical perspectives. ✨ At 6:30 PM, drag queen Mazy Mazeltov will ignite the flames.@mazy_mazeltovin their contemporary interpretation of the traditional ceremony, the Hanukkah candles.
