2025 René Urtreger Prize Final Concert – Jazz at ECUJE

The Jazz à l’Ecuje young talent competition is back! After two editions which have highlighted many talented and promising groups, and which have rewarded the groups Congé Spatial (René Urtreger Prize 2023) and Mark Priore trio (Special Jury Prize 2023) then Ninanda (René Urtreger Prize 2024) and Jeremie Lucchese Group (Special Jury Prize 2024), Jazz à l'Ecuje is looking for its 2025 winner! This competition aims to reward the future of jazz in France by allowing the best groups to present their work in front of a jury of recognized professionals. The jury, composed of Frédéric Charbaut (Festival Jazz à Saint-Germain des Prés), Alex Dutilh (Open Jazz, France Musique), Olivier Hutman (musician, programmer of the Jazz à l'Ecuje seasons), Alice Leclercq (Jazz News) and Lionel Eskenazi (Jazz Magazine) will present the prize to one of the 5 finalists (pre-selected in advance by this same jury) at the end of this concert.
