Shabbaton Bern
At the end of October we say goodbye to our SUJS Rabbi Josh Ahrens, who is now the new Rabbi of Bern. We take this as an opportunity to plan an intensive weekend in his new congregation and to properly celebrate his election. Besides a big Shabbat dinner, a guided tour of the city and meeting many new people, there will also be a lot of partying.
The capital of Switzerland is also one of the most beautiful cities and offers much worth seeing. In addition, it can be celebrated just as well as in the larger cities of Zurich and Geneva and is easily accessible from everywhere.
For participants outside of Bern:
- 150.00 Swiss francs (155.00 euros) for those under 30.
- 200.00 Swiss francs (210.00 euros) for over 30s.
- 300.00 Swiss Francs (320.00 Euro) for persons who are not members of a Jewish community.
The participation fee includes meals for Shabbat and hotel accommodation. Single rooms are available for an additional charge of 120.00 francs.
For participants from Bern:
- 25.00 francs Friday night dinner.
- 50.00 francs for the whole Shabbaton.
- 100.00 francs for persons who are not members of a congregation.
Deadline for registration is October 20, 2023.
