About the Talk:
Israel has been making advances in Gaza, however there are still hundreds of kilometers of tunnels underground. How will the campaign proceed after northern Gaza is under IDF control? How do you shut down all the tunnels? What are the implications for Hamas fleeing to the South, and how will the civilian population be handled? What are the implications of the cease-fire coming with the impending hostage deal?
About Our Speaker:
Jonathan Conricus is a prominent international IDF spokesperson. Conricus has shown the world IDF advancements in Gaza, expressing facts, figures, and sentiment for media outlets such as CNN, NBC, the BBC, Fox News, and on his own Twitter account which has a following of some 96,000. Conricus served in the IDF for 24 years, four of them as spokesperson during the intense 11 days of the Guardian of the Walls Operation between Israel and Hamas. Now a reserve officer, he focuses on American media during the overnight hours so he can service TV channels during their relevant hours, always aiming at providing a different perspective.
