About the Talk: Ghosts of Beirut, Showtime's  new series about Israel's Lebanon war, is produced by the creators of the hit show Fauda, Lior Raz and Avi Issacharov. It is a  historical drama set during the first and second Lebanese wars. It has just been released through Showtime and YES Network in Israel with much buzz and acclaim . Shanna Fuld, the main Israel researcher behind the production will tell about her interviews with former Prime Ministers, top generals and Mossad sources. Come hear the inside story on the research and making of the show.
About Our Speaker: Shanna Fuld is the creator and producer of Israel Daily News Podcast, a freelance journalist and reporter and Director of Community Engagement for Tribe Tel Aviv. She worked as a reporter for at NY1 News in Manhattan until she moved to the Israel in September of 2018. Since then Shanna has covered Middle East news, politics and culture, appearing in the Jerusalem Post, Haaretz, ILTV, Israel Now News. In 2021 she conducted in-depth research for “Ghosts of Beirut” working with producer Avi Issacharoff, co-author of Fauda. She was born in Queens, New York.
