We invite you to an online event "Future of the Past». New Technologies in the Context of Commemorative Practice" which will take place on Tuesday, April 18, at 6:30 CET.

New technologies are advancing our ability to document areas of land and space, allowing for more complex relationships to existing memory archives. This has become incredibly important in the thinking surrounding commemorative practices and building new orders of meaning in how we understand and process memory.

The day of Holocaust Memorial Day, on April 18th, we will discuss possible applications using these new technologies in memory practice in this exclusive online event. The exact program of events will be announced soon. The event will be in Polish with simultaneous English translation.

It is organized jointly with the Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakow as part of the project "NeDiPa: Negotiating Difficult Pasts", which FestivALT is implementing together with Fundacja Zapomniane and the Urban Memory Foundation thanks to the support of the European Union in the framework of the program Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV)
