The Jewish Community Center (JCC) Bucharest opened its doors in September 2007 as a result of a partnership between the Federation of Jewish Communities in Romania - Mosaic Cult (FCER-CM) and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC or Joint for short). The JCC is the place for all Jews (and not only Jews) to learn - about Jewish culture, traditions and customs, holidays, Israel - in a new, modern and relaxed setting. Those who cross our threshold can learn anything from languages to art, spend time with friends, relax. The JCC Bucharest gives a new look to everyday Jewish life. The programs we offer are designed according to the age of the participants to whom they are addressed, but also according to their interests, so as to attract and involve as many members of the Jewish community as possible in Jewish life and allow them to express and develop themselves both from a Jewish and personal point of view.
